The lack of specialized education protocols are limiting growth. Based on the national average, only 14% of individuals with exceptionalities can ride a two-wheel bike. This has nothing to do with their abilities & everything to do with access to education that empowers effort & an approach that prioritizes progress over outcomes. This is the foundation of our Hidden Potential Process™. With a 95% average success rate using our approach we can now see their potential is endless with the right support & belief system.
With unemployment rates (those actively seeking work) being nearly 8-9x more for neurodiverse individuals & the not employed rate (those that have given up on seeking for work) being almost 20x for those with IDD, it is time we reimagine what’s possible & close the gaps.
An 86% dependent living rate highlights a significant gap in the support for autonomy. If we don’t create a life long growth plan for both the parents & the exceptional individual; dependent living will continue to sit around 86%...or more. Access to education & resources for the family is the first step to empowering them to take on independent life skills from a young age preparing them for the responsibilities & challenges heading into adulthood.

Our athletes have summited mountains, completed 100-mile gravel races, & conquered feats once seen as impossible for them. Now we are inspiring this movement throughout other communities as they activate our programs to continue enhancing the belief system around these exceptional individuals.

With AURORA’s parent-led community forum, parents raising children with exceptionalities can learn together, connect through the highs and lows, & build the bridges they once needed for the next generation—together.
AURORA prepares everyone for success: career training for exceptional individuals, inclusion education for teams, & onboarding support for the business. But this is more than employment. It’s a launchpad for independence. Outside of work, the exceptional individual & their parents will begin AURORA’s life skills courses.
With enough stories, data, & a collective community, we can influence policies, shift societal perceptions, & create long-term systems that truly serve individuals with exceptionalities & their families—for generations to come.
